Although perhaps the crowdest (yes, I know that's not a word) place on Earth, rather than the happiest, it was still fun. I just wish that I had gotten to ride some roller coasters. Alas.
Here's me, my best friend, and my sister:

So have any of you all read Inkheart? Well if you haven't, there's this character named Elenor who has a house full of books, or in other words, the kind of house that I'd love to have. I saw this on Inkygirl, and it made me think of Elenor:

Whenever I get my own house, I would SO try to build something like this. You can learn more about this awesomeness, go to http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/at-eu rope/at-europe-london-closeup-the-amazin g-staircase-042543.

So what exactly am I writing? Good question! 'Tis called Licentious Child, a novella that takes place in Victorian England and is about a werewolf. That's all I'll say for now.
Oh! And here's the cover I made for it. I'm planning on self-publishing a copy of it, you know, to have something solid to turn in for my project.

So this is my shiny new writer blog, complete with trash can for my stupid ideas.
Hopefully I'll be on my way to being published soon (the first steps of a long journey), because writing a novella is what I'm doing for my senior project. If only that was ALL I had to do. Unfortunately, the book part is only the Product component of the whole riddiculous process. There's also a Paper, a Portfolio, and a Presentation that I also have to complete. My official topic? The Evolution of Women's Literature. Fabulous.
I have to work fifteen hours with a mentor as well. FIFTEEN FREAKIN' HOURS. Doing what? Good grief, it doesn't take a mentor to write a book. Yeah, a mentor's useful for the editing process, but not for fifteen whole hours. There's also the portfolio thing. I have to have like ten pictures I think- ten pictures of what pray tell? Me typing at the computer?
Good grief.
